Our barbershop in Romeo features an old-world barber experience with various classic cuts. The fade cut is one of the most popular hairstyles for men and has been on trend for decades.
This type of cut is achieved when the barber cuts your hair on the sides and back with professional clippers. The hair is cut shorter near the bottom and gradually blends into a longer length on the top. What sets the fade apart from the taper is how it gradually takes the hair right down to the skin, causing the hairline on the sides and back of the head to “fade” before it reaches the natural hairline. Fade cuts are essentially very short tapers and offer a bit more of an edge.
Types of Fades

Low Fade
The low fade haircut is the most popular option due to its versatility and clean-cut look. These start just above the ears and curve around the hairline down to the neck.
High Fade
The high fade haircut is a shorter way to cut the hair on the sides and back and offers more contrast that works well with a variety of trendy hairstyles.
Mid Fade
The mid fade haircut is the perfect compromise starting halfway up the sides of the head. It offers a gradual look that is still very modern.
